I was just told that they had all my clearances and the earliest OKC date they have now is Oct. 21st. I was given a Sep. 8th start date at the NY PEPC.

So how have you NY PEPC people received your FOL? e-mail, US mail, FedEx? Also, what was your PEPC date?

Does anyone know if they're required to tell you if you are being rejected? Meaning, if for some reason your medical is denied or your security clearance is denied, do they just leave you hangin' or do they have to inform you?

I attended the NYC PEPC on the 9th, and none of my references or family (wife, parents, friends) have received anything, and I'm worried it could be because my medical was denied...

You could try calling the Regional Aerospace Medicine Divisions. They're the ones who deal with your Medical clearance or at least that was who I was told to call.

I've tried. I always seem to get the run around, and when I do reach someone, they're either "not the right person/office" or they just tell me to contact my HR person, who in turn, tells me to call the Aerospace Medicine Division.

the medical office will contact you if there's a problem, by snail mail. Unless some very specific things came up they wouldn't deny you without clarification I'd think.
you know you passed the hearing/eyes/ test at the PEPC, unless you had some precription meds you were on and declared there isn't much for them to look at.
