Food at Palms

Any recommendations for Food at the Palms? Want a nice meal with the wife, but also watching the expense.

Isn't the In-N-Out just down the street across the freeway? We went last year before our trip to Red Rock. It was quite nice.... :rotfl:

That was when we were at the MGM and the Monte. The Palms is over on the same side of the freeway but farther north on Flamingo.

OMG Simon is teh suck! they even have Cotton Candy and other little old school yummies as desert!

OH and a super fantastic Sunday Brunch (incl all you can eat sushi and mimosas i think) where they literally expect you to wear your pajamas.

Not sure about the Palms, but my wife and I were in Vegas this past weekend and went to Nobu one night and Carnevino the other.

Nobu was more spendy, but my wife described her meal as orgasmic :D and said it was perhaps the best meal of her life.

Carnevino is one of Mario Batali's restaurants. Not quite as expensive, lots of variety, and very good. Inexpensive pasta dishes or an expensive steak... your choice.

I've been to Mesa Grill, Bobby Flay's restaurant, a few years ago and loved it.

I suggest checking out http://www.gayot.com/restaurantpages/tally.php?code=LV to get an idea of what some of the good restaurants are.

N9ne is a pretty good steak house on the main floor, but i'm planning on going to Nove (italian) atleast one of the nights (crazy elevator ride to the upper floor levels) . Just make sure you make reservations they can sell out pretty quick but i'm not too sure if they are open mondays?

We ate at Mon Ami Gabi @ Paris last year. Food was pretty good. But eating outside on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains was amazing. We thought about going back one night this year but it turns out there are two in the NoVA/DC area.

I was in vegas a few weeks ago and they had this $39.99 all you can eat all day long buffet special. It wasn't just at one casino. I think 4-5 were partnered up so you could go to anyone of them and start eating again. For vegas, thats a deal!

This is the Harrah properties buffets (except the Rio Seafood one). I never did find out if that gives you "head of line" as well or not.
