These days, with everyone and their mom having a video camera and every flyby being taped and put right to youtube; the higher ups go review these and look for anything they can bust you on.......too low, being the primary one. Guys have gotten in trouble, and in some cases, lost their wings for things like this. It's just not worth it overall.

This is exasperating, and the sort of mentality that is making JO's flee at the earliest opportunities. Sad.
 
There is a fair percentage of people that are stupid, mean, spiteful and/or obtuse that would love to cause problems by twisting something you say. Not worth it to me. As they teach in military public affairs training: rule number one in making any public statement, if you don't want to read it in the press, don't say it.
 
The more I think about this the more I think this women was in the wrong before she even picked up the microphone. I have things I am passionate about and mean a lot to me. But I know better to go to work and talk about my weekend in Vegas in graphic details, or describe the UFC fight I saw in all it's gore. If I were to do so my coworkers would probably tell me it is inappropriate, or report me to my boss. But she has force fed her views on religion to those around while people sat silent afraid to offend her to the point she felt it was an okay thing It got to the point she was comfortable enough to pick up the microphone and share her views with the passengers.

I am not against religious beliefs or moral values but on the clock at the workplace is not the time or place to be saving souls.

Well, tell her to cut it out. Those aren't even her passengers, they're whoever the hell they're flying the subcontracted flight for.
