Union says the company will reduce pilots by 47% by parking 59 ERJs and transferring 47 CRJ 700s. Currently 2,700 pilots on property, with the cuts they will only need 1,470 pilots. I can't imagine this is good for pilot hiring, nor good for the pilots there, especially on the bottom quarter of the list (assuming it is attrition by flow to American). It seams there will be a displacement bid soon.
Good luck eagle.
