Dick move announcing something like that before the person has the chance to, but I'd expect nothing less from you, MA...
I'm pretty confident most people know who you are. When I heard it seemed like to fly as common knowledge, not hush hush here's a secret.
And please, I don't know a single pilot born in 1992. Don't pretend like you know me, I have never shared a flight deck or an airline with you. I never shared my name with you either, so you aren't exactly an angel to use my initials as well.
While I don't know you personally, I do to know you well enough to make that inference. You have made quite a name for yourself not only here, but on other websites. Let's not act all shocked. When I heard it seemed like to fly as common knowledge, not hush hush here's a secret.

Yes, quite a few here know my name but it isn't something I'm writing here. Almost all address by just the user name. Difference is there is nothing nefarious in what I wrote, I geniunely meant good luck and a good job to him. I know him, I have certainly met him in the cerw room before. I would have thought he had already said something about the new gig, but if he hadn't, and my post was the first indication then I would apologize to him. As stated though, it sounded out in the open and I thought a congrats was in order. Difference is all in the intent, and mine meant well. Yours on the other hand...

Don't worry though, I don't hide behind a user name. 10 seconds of super sleuth detective skills will show you all you need.
I think you might eliminate a good chunk of quality guys because they didn't have their A+ game one day. Get it twice, then maybe.
I know of one that has been hiring recently. If you think leaving parts to be inferred makes it vague enough to be okay, that's on you.I don't need to know who you are. My point is you went on the offensive over an innocent comment. Even in that post I never mentioned an airline, and just a phase. I don't know how well you know airlines but in the US I can think of at least three airlines that have at minimum a Phase I and a Phase II. That's all I used to leave it open. You might have had a point if I had openly declared the specific name of the new employer but I know better than doing that.

No idea. I know there was a program at one point at Pinnacle (back when it was called Pinnacle) that the grads from somewhere in Michigan didn't even have to interview. It was "Get your degree, come on down." That was desperate. UND at least had to interview.
Captain upgrade I'm paired with interviewed at Delta back in the 80's I believe. They had shrinks back then, he didn't get hired due to the psych eval. He found out later the shrink shot himself in the head. So maybe it's not all about people being on the "A" game. While I certainly understand your concern with the policy, don't you think that an interview with a legacy would be the one day in your entire career that you shoud be on your A+ game? The sucessful applicant is the guy or gal that puts all their energies in preparing and leaving nothing to chance. As far as Delta goes, the moment you walk in the door for the interview, it is your job to lose.
Now, do people slip up? Sure, but how you recover from that slip up is just as important. Attitude is another big area where guys lose it. Some have come in with an entitlement attitude, some were completely unprepared, and some, incredibly, never even made an attempt to connect or make eye contact with the female HR person in the room.
It's your career, but I think that you may be limiting your options if you don't want to work for a carrier you percieve to be "unjust" in their hiring practices. DAL, UAL, AA, and SWA all do it basically the same way.
I could certainly see something like what was suggested with the Riddle/Endeavor/Delta progression, but I don't think it would be "industry changing." We've already got a similar "gateway" here where Riddle grads go to Cape Air for a while then interview with Blue.
It was in regards to somebody I know well. No I don't work for the airlines any more, bore am I in college. If you really want to know, I fly corporate. Petty sure one click on my profile would have shown that.Still no company was named. You are picking at a molehill as if it's a mountain. I'm not even sure I understand your angle, do you even work the airlines or are you still in college? Why would you be affected by any 9E banter? Nothing I wrote ever affected you.

Guys! CC made it a point to publicly out cencal on another board a while back. After so many guys outed him he got one guy (likely innocent) back and is giddy whenever he gets the chance to do it again. Don't get in a debate with this circus clown, he just wants the attention, good or bad.
Oh. It's all good, I don't want to know.It was in regards to somebody I know well. No I don't work for the airlines any more, bore am I in college. If you really want to know, I fly corporate. Petty sure one click on my profile would have shown that.
Oh I was so late to the party on that one, it hardly bears repeating. But yes, when I finally got in the loop I had a great laugh at your expense. As for facebook? I imagine you had that shutdown by then. I was one of the few who had a face and a name, just had to put it with your online personality.I don't recall when that was. Was that before or after you and your buds passed around my Facebook profile picture? Those who live in a glass mansion shouldn't throw stones.
Then why did you ask? I believe this goes with @jinxiyjoe 's action:reaction.Oh. It's all good, I don't want to know.

As I've often tried to explain, it's simple cause and effect. You, sweety, can't cause so much strife for everyone in your own company without a huge negative effect. Action:reaction.
Besides, wasn't it your own pilot group that outed you?
