I was just about to make a post commenting on how utterly disgusted I was by people watching. Reminds me of when I was pumping gas and watched two cars wreck in the intersection. I immediately ran to help them out. When I got back to my car, my cousins comment to me was “oh so you’re trying to be a hero”. I no longer talk to my family. They’re all narcissists that lack any empathy for other humans.

Not everyone is. Coworker of mine also happens to have a side gig as the owner of the local general store/gas station where he lives. He has personally been a first responder to 3 car on pedestrian/bicyclist accidents in the last 10 months on the highway his store sits on. His wife was actually #1 on the first, a 14 year old girl who took a 55 mph car in the ribs. They held her like a child until the ambulance could make it there. She lived too.

What ever happened to acting admirably? Not doing so was once a rarity and not the norm as it sadly seems today, People have no shame. That young girl will never forget their kindness.

The vast majority of the trainers are Standard Category, so there's really not any realistic threat of them being "outlawed".

its funny, I actually hate the ones who help AND film what they do….somehow that is more detestable to me. But then again, If i filmed maybe Id have enough followers to retire as an influencer, opposed to just develop a rampant hatred of humanity and jaded world view /shrug

What do you consider a “warbird trainer”? I can put you on a fast track for a T-6/SNJ or a T-38, either one will consume most of your free time and disposable income, I’d suggest saving your money and renting or volunteering if you feel you really need to scratch that itch.

You haven't proven to me that you're actually either serious or capable so Trade-A-Plane is your friend. Do your due diligence, I might be able to put you in touch with someone knowledgeable about flying and maintaining a T-6. A T-6 has less than desirable ground handling characteristics so an experienced instructor is important. Maintaining a T-6 is a bit more involved than a 172. Perhaps a Citabria would be a better choice.

I have heard that the complexity and cost is similar to a Bo', which I have owned. Is that true?
