I liked that plane. For an entry-level jet, it was great. Easy to fly, trailing link landing gear = super easy to land.

I learned a lot because that thing was a hunk of junk. 90% of my TMAAT stories involve that thing or the challenging operation we flew it in. My couple years on the 700/900 were actually pretty uneventful and boring because most everything went according to plan.

A good way to look at it is a power strip with a logic to what is plugged in where so that if you lose one source, you aren't completely boned.

I like the gung ho FFDO and Air Marshal crowd. If this indeed is a bomb, this would be the 3rd bomb placed on an airliner in the last 12 months. 2 fatal, 1 survived (MetroJet, Dalloo, and Egypt Air). There hasn't been a single passengers storming an aircraft since 9/11. And now we have 3 bombings and all of them had bombs loaded on the plane in an inside-job manner by outsourced ramper / caterer / cleaner type-people. The exception was Dalloo and luckily the aircraft stayed intact and the terrorist flew out of the airplane.

Safe to say that terrorists have learned now it is far easier and more effective to just load a coke-can sized bomb onto an airliner and watch it blow up as opposed to being on an airplane and attempting to storm/takeover. And of course the terrorist lives in the first case of loading a bomb because he never gets on the airplane for flight. It's not a suicide mission, so in essence it's actually more effective from a terrorist's standpoint. No amounts of guns in planes will stop a bomb from going off. And how long before one gets loaded onto a US-bound airliner at airports like Paris and Brussels?

I'm going to shake my head the next time I hear a FFDO talk about not being a sheep, but a wolf who protects the sheep.

LOL! To be fair, I've only had one of those, and I actually felt bad for the guy.


Now don't get me started on the complete d-bag who actually proudly talks about his girlfriend when you know he's married AND has kids. Does he not realize that there is NO winning in any of that situation? It's going to come crashing down on, badly! It NEVER works out good.

I've been really tempted by that game. How's the gameplay vs sim city. I love Sim City, but it really doesn't take long for your city to get complicated enough that it's hard to keep up.

It's a great game with a development team interested in keeping the community happy and a community developing a lot of cool mods. My idle hours are tied between Cities and Assetto Corsa.

Sorry but who the heck would hang out with a CA like this? It's gross either way. Wasn't there some show called, 90-day Fiancee that essentially followed that premise? It takes a "special" girl or guy to be intimate with someone you have zero attraction to. No matter how much money they have, or what benefits they could provide. Even if they were able to cheat on the side. Eww. Maybe I set my standards too high? I just find the whole idea to be so creepy and I couldn't look anyone in the eye that did anything like that.
