Eagle Interview

Hello all. I got an email today to sked my medical. Thought I'd share with you.

Anybody knows anything about "proper attire" for the medical? Business casual or should I dress up like I did for the interview (and for my wedding)?

Thanks in advance

Business casual for the medical. I wore khakis, a button down, and a tie.

Anyone think if I forgot to add a summer job on airlineapps.com and I bring in the extra job to the interview it will be a problem?

The job was very part time but I was able to make enough to get a 1099 the following January.

I'd bet that would not be a problem; it wasn't in my case. I failed to put down 2 jobs when I updated Airlineapps before I received the invitation to interview. They were for a very short amount of time, but I still received 1099s and should have been listed. The interviewer just asked if the jobs were listed on my background paperwork and since they were, it was not a problem.

When getting the pre interview package, do you fill in the flight time profile they send you with the same numbers you have in the airline apps flight time info? Is this what they want to match right on? Thanks

I think it is fine if you have more stuff for them. They don't want you changing things though.

Yes if anyone has the person's name it would be great. One of my recommendations is asking for the persons name for the letter. Unfortunately I don't know if there is any single name they could use.

Does anyone know what happens if you don't make it past the review board? Do they still call you on Friday? Its been 2 months and I've been told they have all of my paperwork but still have yet to hear anything.

Call them... I know two guys who did this and then got the call that same Friday.

Nevermind... Should have checked my mail yesterday. My rejection letter was in there. I don't understand it, but I guess they have their own reason. Never failed a checkride, never been arrested or even pulled over for that matter. Oh well. Move on I guess...

Wow thats a bummer.. I heard the captains board was a formality once you got through the interview.....guess not. Sorry to hear that.

I'm in the same boat man. Passed the interview with flying colors, no criminal records, failures, or bats in my closet, and I got the rejection letter too. My theory is that they must choose from a hat. Because I know several pilot who have been hired with eagle, with accidents/no degree and etc etc. I'm seriously puzzled.

But like you said, move on to the next fish to fry.

Finally got the call saying I passed the review board today; medical is scheduled for Monday. Not sure when class might start for me but it sounds like it will be no earlier than January 17th according to what I've seen on other forums.

when did you interview?

Anyone know if in their paperwork under your medical it asks if there are restrictions. Is that just their way of saying limitations or are they talking about a restriction like "VFR Day Only"?
