Drinking Age on Airplane?

thats what my redneck freinds say........:) I dont want to get on anything because of flying. Wow, I just realized, Flying my anti drug

Over the summer I was on a FlyI flight that was delayed ~3 hours or so due to thunderstorms. They made it up to us by offering free liquor.

When the flamboyant FA came up to me, he asked what I'll have, I ordered a Heinekin, he asked for ID, I said "I'll have an orange juice"...

The girl behind me was probably 16 and her mom said "Come on, my daughter looks older than him"...

Of course this was the second segment of the day, the first I was asked if I was old enough to sit in an emergency exit row... :banghead:

Ahh that usually stopped when i had facial hair at oh about 6th grade.

Learned to shave late 6th grade, and been shaving every day, or being lazy every other day.

I was out one time with my dad when i was actually offered an alcoholic beverage.

"Could i interest you in a heinekin or something?"

Pretty funny, never thought i could actually pass for 21 and up.

Guy kinda broke the rule on if look under 25, card, but whatever.

Hey, going to iran tuesday, but routing takes us LAX-AMS-THR.

Me and my ma were talking about if it's legal for me to drink on the plane. She said that since the airline is KLM and based in netherlands, it follows their laws?

True? False?

If so, what is the drinking age for netherlands? Just wondering...

What would you do if their common culture was sodomizing boys who are 16? Would you expect to be sodomized on the plane?

That's just being irrational now bro.

Drinking an alcoholic beverage does not harm anyone except the person drinking it or the actions from someone intoxicated.

Doing something that is against someones will and just plain out disgusting has no relevance to drinking.

What does sodomizing young boys have anything to do with drinking?

Do you think their laws apply in our skies?

That's fine and dandy, it possibly could.

But what does sodomizing young boys have ANYTHING to do with drinking? That's still my question to why you brought that into the question.

Because you can't do what there laws and customs are in U.S. skies. What you do after you leave the U.S. is a different story.

So from that statement, once we enter international "skies" i can follow their laws?

im not going to read two pages of replies haha
but they do not card on airplanes, and you look old enough

I am not a lawyer, but you better hope what I said isn't true. I would just sit there and quietly wish for the flight to end without being noticed.

Bro, with utmost respect, im not catching on with what you're trying to tell me.

First about sodomizing young boys, then hope what you told me is false and now, sit there quietly?

I am saying that you are under the age for drinking in the United States regardless of who's flag the craft is under. The sodomy bit was a anology of trying to mix their laws and customs with ours, and whether their laws trump ours.

f/a's dont give half a **** if you're 21.

i've never seen anyone get carded on a plane, and many of them hadn't needed a razor in their life.

not sure whats been going on in the post above due to laziness, but i know in tx its legal for parent/legal guardian to serve child alcohol.
