Kristie and I stayed in one of the jacuzzi suites a few years ago and it was hella cool.

that's ok... your more than welcome to join us! we just need some basic info like name & cell phone number..

you can email it to vegas@us-airrace.org to keep it hush hush...

some of the folks coming along have never been to vegas and since i've been there quite a bit so far - i wouldn't really know the "things to hit, not to hit"... so if you could give some details on that then we can plan a small itinerary type "thing to do" calendar...

we would sure appreciate the help (er - your contribution to the board, per se.. haha

Well I'll see if I can make it. I've stayed at the Luxor before. If you want a pyramid room you have to ask for it or they will most likely put you in one of the towers. Maybe one of the casinos gives a good discount for a group rate; I dunno. www.cheapovegas.com is a good site for getting the low down on the casinoes and hotels.

My question though is what if it turns into a squawk box event?

unfortunately, no casino will give group rates - tried that when we got married at mandalay...

I forgot about having to request a pyramid room...luckily, haven't yet reserved the room but doh anyways!

Since I won't be able to make the get together but will be in Vegas Mon - Thurs I can be your advance party. I offer to scout out any points of ill repute and give a full accounting of my findings.

Kristie..look really tired and agitated when you check in..I did and I got upgraded from a standard room to a Jacuzzi suite near the top of the pyramid..just because as the desk clerk put it " I looked like I was having a bad day"......little did she know the only reason my wife and I looked so haggared was that we had an awful trip on United into Vegas...

been there done that..I had a six day long bachelor party in vegas...pretty much done and seen everything vegas has to offer....

I wish I could be there, hopefully this will become an annual thing and eventually I'll drag my way down to sin city!
