DL hiring again

For those of you that interviewed, did they have anything additional to say about future hiring events or when to expect to hear back from them?
How was the dispatch knowledge portion of the interview?

I was told that all candidates who interviewed would all know with a "yes or no" offer by no later than December 20th with a class start date of January 21st.

They didn't mention any future hiring events and I didn't ask.

The dispatch knowledge portion was relatively basic with an emphasis on scenarios, especially how you personally would react to and deal with problems in different, less-than-ideal situations. Out of respect for their interview process and in the spirit of professional competition, I will not elaborate on specifics, but know that as long as you know your stuff with day-to-day dispatching you should do well on that aspect in any future interview you may have with them.

Good luck to everyone here who also interviewed! Waiting another week to hear back is nail-biting but they do have a few more days of interviews to cover and then make a decision from there.

Absolutely. I wouldn’t expect specific details, that was perfect. I was just curious! Awesome, thanks for the info!
 
So these calls start on the 20th or anytime prior? I assume the hire up hiring managers start the review and sort process today then organize call lists

I would imagine so. I was told between the 18th-20th and I believe the last interview(s) happen today, so that timeline seems accurate.
 
Hearing offers are going out! Congrats to all, but I especially have a soft spot in my heart for my old NK colleagues. Well deserved! 👏

Also hearing that TBNT have not necessarily gone out, however some statuses have changed to “Not Selected To Move Forward” and a new opening for internals only has been posted.

Congrats again, and good luck to those for future postings.

I can confirm that the hiring manager called me today and I accepted. I know of a couple other co-workers here at Spirit who also got the job. January 21st start is still what I was told.

Don't feel bad if you haven't gotten a call back yet as the hiring manager said they are calling candidates up until Friday. Good luck to everyone else who applied and for those that also got it, I will see you all next month!

congrats man. wonder how many they called already.. no status change for me yet but didnt think the calls would be this early. guess i'll stay tuned
