Digging around the home office

Nice to see you still have my card @derg

Those business cards were surprisingly hard to give to people, @DPApilot gave me a $5 chip from the Paris Casino in exchange for one of my cards.

Those cards were a great investment. NJC 2016 and those cards gave a quick boost to my career and the start of many new friendships, which lead to many a drunken nights in the future.

For those of you who fly internationally across either of the ponds what do you guys do for phones during your layovers?

last time in the 20th century I had to hunt for an airport SIM card vending machine, but I guess in the 21st century esim is a thing, what would you guys recommend?

I had AT&T and a grandfathered "all you can eat" international wifi plan which turned out to be a zillion dollars when I started shopping around for alternatives.

I got Tmobile Go5G BusinessPlus and it's sick, I love it. But the standard Go5G plans are what I was getting with AT&T and a lot of other good stuff.

Tmobile. I haven't ventured across the ponds yet. But that is what I am consistently told.

It's hard to beat. I actually stepped into a Tmobile store and asked them "Ok, what's the catch?" :)

And since it's a business line I don't have speed capping at a certain point internationally.

That's awesome. Might have to look at that at a certain point. I have pretty happy with their personal service. Glad to have made the switch from ATT.

I was trying to add an international data package to the wife's line and then the tap dancing started with AT&T.

The only reason I held on to them for so long was the Alaska coverage, and I had a local phone number so my family could easily call. But eventually it wasn't worth the money.

No good in Haines Tmobile is?

It works there. But because of some network thing you can't transfer 907 numbers to their system. Service is actually great in Alaska!

Oh good! Not that I'm going on vacation to make freaking phone calls so I'm not sure why I even asked! Ha!

Found a couple of these in my folk's office room.......what kinda international plans can I grab?

If you're in the market. I've been with GoogleFi for 5 years and never had an issue overseas. You get unlimited data and texting overseas.
