C'mon, haven't you read the neighbor-witness statements in every vicious crime?!? It's always, "he was a quiet man..."From my experience the most interesting ones you fly with will be the most quiet and unassuming. The boastful ones are usually zeros. One of the most interesting guys I flew with was a sub hunter in a previous life. Great, funny stories once you got him going.
That may be true... Yet, on the bright side, you'll have the motivation to seek out those sunsets and the ability to appreciate them.In under the wire (1954)
Of course, it also means I’ll see a lot fewer sunsets, so there’s that ...
And, unlike my bartender/server at a rural-state Red Robin the other evening, you'll know in which cardinal directions to look for sunrise and sunset, and from that knowledge, be able to extrapolate a general sense of north and south. (Seriously, try that game some day. I've noted that a shockingly high percentage of youngsters are so disconnected from nature as to be rendered unaware of which direction to look for sunrise. It's disturbing.)
