Delta Psychological Eval Lawsuit?

Theres now pilots crashing Airbus' into mountains in Europe and FA's stealing beer, pulling evac slides on their way out of quitting, we could use a few more of these evals. Trust me, people are very good at hiding their crazy. You don't want these people around you at FL410 anywhere near the controls when the wheels decide its time to come off.

I mean, reference the Germanwings, didn’t he actually fail his psych and nobody bothered to tell the airline?

I don't remember "would you murder a plane load of people" being anywhere on AA or Spirit's fit assessments.

The hard part about all this is you can't just look at someone or talk to someone and figure out if they're crazy or not. But there has to at least be an attempt

Do you really want your doctor sharing information with your employer?

Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Usually, no. But they do that every other year now when I get my medical. But if multiple doctors think you are a danger to yourself or others and your job is being responsible for the safety of you and others, don’t they have a responsibility to those others to say something?

I mean, either the questions aren't going to determine that or people are probably going to just lie anyway.

Some, not all sociopaths/psychopaths can beat a polygraph, psych eval testing etc. They're not fool proof.

I “failed” a polygraph, and got the job. The polygrapher said I “showed signs of deception”. I stood up, ripped off all the crap. Told him I know this is all a part of the test, but I’ve had enough, “ go tell my future employer I’m a liar if that is what you think.

Failed the polygraph, but did they say that you had anger issues?

The sad thing is there are a lot of people out there in various jobs (but especially front-facing customer ones) where every morning when they get up stand in front of a mirror and do one of these takes:

Let me ask you, has anybody asked you if you have had “anger issues” when you have been denied acceptance into the black heterosexual community ? I welcome you with open arms!

Not really, because I stopped attending church a long time ago. The church is pretty fundamental in the black community. More especially when it comes to heterosexuality. They preach hate from the pulpit. Meanwhile everyone knows and ignores that the fact that choir director is probably the biggest queen in the church. And that the whole choir is basically the Grindr app IRL.

Also I don't try to seek acceptance. You either accept me or you don't. I know that as a human being, were very social creatures that form into like groups for strength and protection. But, I don't try to hangout will millionaire, actors etc. I'm never going to live that life. So, it makes no sense for me to try to break my back trying to fit into their social structure. We're from two very different worlds.

Likewise, I consider myself to be masculine. But I'm not the epitome of hyper masculinity. I'm not really big into sports. I'm kind of a nerd/geek. Can be bit of an introvert. So, I again as a human seek to be around like people to include in my social group. Heterosexual, bisexual, transsexual et al.

I spent some money on job prep. Apparently I should have spent that money on a shrink first.
I need a new brain.

The one thing I loved about the Frontier hiring process is it is pilots hiring pilots. I think there was only one HR person involved. It was awesome.
Do you guys do some sort of personality assessment?

I had one HR (the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition herself) and one pilot (FLL chief) for my interview panel. I'm leery of not having HR in the room because pilot applicants are literally stupid on occasion, and HR types are frequently better equipped to suss out who is likely to be an HR issue.
