It's an excellent soaring environment, albeit a little rough to the north of the reservoir. Btw: some of the turnpoints would make an acceptable landing site in case of emergency, hope you know them (piolis, maben etc..)Affirm. Looks like you know all them gliding ops.

Pretty unusual huh? When I saw it I thought it was a special C-27A or something, which I realized was wrong after a quick image search. It actually took me a little while to figure it out. I also saw this on the ramp, which is another unusual aircraft to see here in the lower 48.
