Indeed that's our jet... Although it's a 494th tail. We've been giving a lot of tours to important people and semi important people... If any of you are around, come stop by the F-15E say hi and we'll give you a good tour. It's a fun show... The 380 and 787 demos were impressive!

The tower barely gave us two minutes between UPS and us. Might as well get another 30 seconds.

Aw man! Now I'm even more bummed we has to leave... Thanks for the offer though that would have been awesome. I have to say, I'm very much a Boeing/'Murica airplanes type but they got showed up by Airbus on those demos. The crazy thing about the 787 to me was how quiet it was.

There is tons of spots around here that seem like they'd be great for hang gliders and paraglider, but the closest I've come to seeing one is in the ATIS saying that there is activity 1 mile south of the VOR.

Spent my afternoon on reserve around Lake Hood and the end of Runway 33 at ANC:
You could stop in and say hi! My office looks onto Lake Hood. It's the big tan hangar between NAC and TransNorthern.
