For a while there was a campaign for crew members to photograph their hotel rooms and submit the location through an app or website to help track and solve human trafficking crimes. The idea was using some sort of AI bot to match photographs and identify the locations of victims. Of course there is some irony in relying on AI to match photographs, yet Captcha is supposed to prevent AI from identifying photographs.

Is the lack of daylight from redeye schedules or because of Polar Night ?

Mostly because of the long flights. We usually takeoff in the afternoon from the US and fly into the night. Somehow my break is always when the sun is up. But it does help that the sun is staying up longer so it'll still be bright as we fly north.
