Coudn't complete IOE

This is true.

"Have you ever received a moving violation?"

"No, sir"

"Ok, I'm not talking about your current driving record, the question is 'Have you EVER'. If you've had something expunged through traffic school, the answer would be yes. Have you ever received a moving violation?"

"No"

*mistrusting glare*
Pulled over once, let off with a grumble to not do it again, and a handful of parking tickets because, well, I did park against University policy a few times.

Does it count if the officer pulling me over was my uncle, and all he did was call me a "dumb ass" and then told my mom, who punished me?

If you were playing NWA's "F the Police" when the officer pulled you over AND it happened to be your uncle, that might be a hilarious story to share! Ha!

Nah, still under the "most literal interpretation" of the question, that would not qualify as a "Yes".

I think some of the reactions here are a little too dramatic. I know what my situation was, and I didn't hide anything from anyone. It may be interpreted differently how I wrote it here, but the point I was trying to make by following up on this thread is: I was honest, owned up to my mistakes and want to move on. Thanks for the advice. There is nothing to hide and nothing that will get me fired in the future.

Question. Answer. Validation.
I still hate these questions. The "have you ever been arrested" type question. It's irrelevant. Have you ever been convicted, relevant. I personally got a ticket but had it dismissed in court after the judge heard my case against it. I'm surprised "have you been arrested" hasn't gotten "HR'd" yet.

And then manually override the throttles and use the boards because the box waits until it's directly on top of the fix to bug a 30 knot speed reduction. And wonder why the autothrottle servos are still fighting you and whining furiously when the airplane knows it's fast.
This, this, a thousand times this.
