Coudn't complete IOE

"I know you're having a heart attack right before V1, but I can't reach the controls because I'm getting a sweet video!"
Not that it makes a difference as far as legality re: PEDs in critical phases of flight, but I've heard from a friend of mine that lots of aircraft are put together such that you can put a smartphone up there recording video and have it stay without holding it.

I've always wondered what would happen to someone's career if they...
A - Lied on their application
B - Claimed to "own up to it in the interview", when that didn't happen
C - Proclaimed "I flew the 175 at Skywest for 3 years"
D - Got found out and shown the door, for lying.

o_Oo_Oo_O

Not saying "that happened"...just a hypothetical post on an evening, ;)

Back before smart phones could take videos a...uh...guy I know made a glareshield mount for his point and shoot camera by supergluing a tripod mount to a potato chip bag clip. Worked extremely well!

So funny story. Just flew with a guy who friended me on Facebook. His profile picture was an Air Beachball 747 with terribly photoshopped fireworks behind it. I was going to explain the significance, but when I thought it over I thought it seemed a bit "you had to be there."
One of those stories that has "well, me and my innernetz friends..."

@Roger Roger recently helped me with one those stories :biggrin:
:biggrin::biggrin:
