It's our time to grow, shine and then fail like every other regional. I'm hoping I'm not here for the last part. Fuel is forecasted to remain cheap, but if it goes way up again...

But I'm enjoying the good news right now and most everyone is. This has been "in the works" forever and, since it was basically an overhaul of the company, I can see why.
 
Would be pretty hard pressed to find a sane XJT FO in the EWR area who wouldn't hop on this. Same goes for maybe some Mesa guys in IAD. Good opportunity for some stagnant FOs out there.

They won't go to CommutAir..
 
A certain number of the aircraft were previously under contract with United with the ERJ ExpressJet CPA. However, those aircraft departed the XJT ERJ active fleet many months ago.

Union sent out an email clarifying that they are not coming from XJT. Still, I don't think people are mad at C5, no one I know.

People are fed up with the goings on, it's hard to keep a positive outlook and those with it are emptying their half full glasses. Of course there will be people who take it out on C5, but I bet it will be much less than the already misdirected frustration towards TSA.

Ahhh, yes, the XJT • blowhards. They gave us at Colgan some lip as well.

A lot of them could have flowed to Continental but decided they liked weekends off better....

There's still a fair number of them running around. Eventually their ship will sink.
