Yes, so once you accept a class date you're allowed to take the Hogan assessment straight away. If you pass the Hogan you go to interview, if not, you get another chance in 12 months.Well yeah, I know. But You just got hired, right at C5? Is this part of new hire orientation?

I think you get two tries and then you're out. Once you're in the pool of candidates, the date you would move on to United is based upon the date you received an offer from UAL, and your meeting the requirements with C5 (3k TT/3yr or 1k PIC/1yr)
The way I understand it, your DOH at Commutair has nothing to do with your sequence in moving on to UAL, unlike the AA wholly owned flows
I'm not sure how their CPP is worded, I honestly haven't looked at it (never considered XJT since they don't have any growth and was looking for somewhere I could upgrade in a reasonable amount of time)Do you know if is the same way for XJT? I heard that they're guaranteeing 25% of all their new hire classes will have XJT people in it. But I haven't heard that you get to take the Hogan straight away upon accepting a class date.
You better check into that wording and details... What you said is what C5 recruiting has been saying....
The first come first out is only for people not on the seniority list IE behind all 200ish current C5 pilots, otherwise you get selected out of the pool based on seniority DOH... Per a UAL HR rep at WAI. It all sounded convulted and I haven't continued doing research on it. YMMV
That's how it was explained to me, and relevant to those who are considering C5 since they're not on the seniority list. If this is incorrect, and someone has experience with this, feel free to chime inYou better check into that wording and details... What you said is what C5 recruiting has been saying....

I passed the Hogan, the United hiring manager said I should interview after I finished IOE. Anyone have suggestions for interview prep...?
Don't know, there's really no way of knowing the correct answers. It was a couple hundred statements either true or false, I don't think you can BS your way through itAwesome... now how'd you do that? I heard the Hogan is hard.
Can you study for it, though?
It's a personality test, not a knowledge test. That's like asking if you can study for the DSM.

Ahh yes, the people giving out gouge on how to "beat" the Minnesota Multiphase Personality Inventory.
Aye yi yi.
You're not.
People love to "self select".
Still... I can't wait for the old days to return. You know when pilots hired pilots. And HR took a backseat.
Probably NEVER going to return. But still. . .
I'm a firm believer in the MMPI and the psych eval my friend!
Firrrrrrrrrrrrrmly believe not everyone needs to be at my shop.
errr… shoppe.
