Chicago PEPC

i'm staying at the wyndam hotel which is about .25 mile from the sheraton and my interview is tomorrow at 9 i'm sure i'll see ya there...

:rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk:Just got back from Chicago PEPC, everything went great! TOL!! Very organized, escorted everywhere, much like I've read on this site. If you chose not to read the "PEPC Interview Questions Here" thread I would suggest it, it's almost like my interviewer took the questions from that thread and asked them to me!! Now we're off to indulge at all of the finest Chicago drinking establishments before our 6am flight tomorrow morning!!:drool::drool::drool:

just got back a little while ago as well. the person that interviewed me this morning actually said 'i know these questions are floating around on the internet, i don't know if you've seen them or not'

it was very relaxed, very organized, and very efficient. the longest I waited was 5 minutes. Took 4.5 hours from check in to check out.

Congrats....

Hey question - how many people actually go to the PEPC and don't pass the interview? As far as the medical and back groud, I have no worries with my husband. I am the most worried about the interview!

I also would be interested to know what dates they gave you guys, if they did!

My interviewer had a stack of TOL's on his desk with everyones name already printed on them. The TOL's were in order of interviewees. Don't worry about the interview.

I think the interview is the thing you should worry about least.

This is great, keep going out to stand on my "standing room only" balcony and have a great view of ORD... can see the tower and lines of planes landing on I guess it's 4R & 9R.

So if my husband doesn't get his, he really screws up big time somehow... *takes deep breath*

Boomer - my husband should be landing in 10 minutes...he then is headed to a Holiday Inn (free breakfast and airport transportation). Was your interview today or tomorrow? If tomorrow, what time?

Tomorrow @ 1300. So, since I can sleep in, having a big ass pizza and pitcher of Miller Lite to celebrate getting this far!

If he's staying @ a Holiday Inn, he could probably just go control traffic tomorrow... or is that Holiday Inn Express only?

That is nice. My husband has to be there at 0800 but he is hoping to still get at least one piece of the infamous Chicago Pizza (he is a pizza holic). He may have to get it tomorrow after he gets out of the PEPC. Enjoy the pizza and good luck tomorrow!

Well, its about 0630, and my body will let me sleep no longer. I don't have to be there until 1000, its about a 20 minute drive. What do do??

If anyone else is there today, I will be the dude in the pink shirt. :laff::laff:

I second that - any guestimate given for terminal / enroute class dates? Might be a big clue for those of us waiting on the CLs

yeah the person I interviewed with said it would be more than likely early next year (fiscal), but then at the end she said i might have a few spots left in the september en route classes. so it's still a crapshoot.

Just woke up after a night of celebratory drinking... the bad part is I woke up in a random recliner at my friends apartment. Think I might have slightly over indulged. Anyhow things went great at the PEPC. The interview is a breeze, I was worried I came off sounding aloof or something, but the interviewer said I did great and that I would be a good fit for ZDV. I got my TOL then it was 3.5 hours of being shuffled about for Medical/Psycho/Background stuff. Was a breeze though. Now I just have to wait on the FOL :D Here's hoping. Fingers crossed. They didn't even bring up academy dates to me, but I did hear one guy (Think it was Robert Anderson) telling another person that they realistically were expecting Feb/March academy dates. Some of the NY people were told that to I think though, and they're getting Sept dates (Terminal obviously) so lets keep our fingers crossed! Good luck today guys!

Everyone is really happy to have you there, and I gave Terri Owens some flack just for fun. She's actually a pretty funny lady :P Just relax and enjoy the process cause they're already of the mindset that you're hired when you walk in the door.

Was anyone else in the 1pm interview batch yesterday?
