Chicago PEPC

Yeah if you're flying into O'Hare, look out. I've heard they've had tons of delays, a buddy of mine who lives there just flew back in and his plane got delayed 4 times getting back in there. He heard it's been that way for months, so hopefully no one is trying to do a same day turn around bit. And don't worry boomer... really..... Is it safe?!?!
Tell queeno your flight number, maybe he can hook you up lol

I'm going the evening of the 11th for the delay reason! It's suppose to be a two hour flight from dallas to o'hare so hopefully I can make it to my interview the next morning by 9. My hotel (Wyndam Hotel) is less then a mile from the FAA building. So, I think the only thing that could make me late is if the world blew up. :panic: Whoever is going on the 12th can join me for some billards and a drink. I think we'll need it... :D

Heading to the airport for a weekend of fun in Chicago, my Interview is Monday at 1 pm. So good luck all, I'll be in town until Wednesday morning, so I'll have some time to spend wandering about :) Remember your paperwork, Identification and keep cool! Good luck all :) See you when I get back

Well one more stupid questions won't hurt. Suppose I have a city ordinance violation...think I should put it down? When I called there was no real way to get a copy of it and an ordinance violation is not on my record....thoughts are appreciated. I have not yet written it down and I'm not sure if I want to add stuff that isn't worth it.

Was there a fine? Did it exceed the limits notated on the form? I assume it's not a felony (automatic admittal)... just read the requirements for listing and you'll be fine.

There was a fine it was 250 it was never sent to court just in the city hall. Its the same type of fine as burning leaves within city limits except for underage consumption. I think I'm going to put it in there and be more safe than sorry.

Re: to shave or not to shave

That is a good question. One my husband was wondering! He has had a well-trimmed goatee for years now and would hate to have to shave it!

I have a question too - will antibotics affect any of the drug tests? My husband was diagnosed with Strep this morning and was put on antibotics for it. Gladly it was caught now and not tomorrow while on the airplane!

Oh great, so I am going to come home with Strep now?! :cwm27:

Re: to shave or not to shave

No, well at least not from my husband. The Dr. said you aren't contagious after 24 hours of meds, which he will have. They also said that Strep is running amuck so someone else might have it there...

Poor guy has been so sick and he is avoiding all meds cause of his medical on Tuesday :( Good news though, his BP was 117/80 while so sick..so hopefully no BP problems at the PEPC!

staying at the best western by the airport tomorrow. pepc on tuesday. see you guys there :panic:

Antibiotics should be fine. I take doxycycline for acne, and there was no problem at the PEPC. (Doctor simply asked why I was taking that antibiotic, and that was the end of that.)

At Memphis PEPC, my buddy didn't shave, said he didn't notice any other applicants with facial hair. He still got the TOL... They don't care. My interviewer had a goatee. I shaved anyways, two weeks later, I've got a full beard back. I maybe saw one guy with facial hair there...

Well I don't think my husband is going to shave. After reading that some interviewers had goatees and beards, he figured he was safe...hope he is right!

I'm not shaving either I look to sexy with my beard! See ya'll there my flight leaves at 5:20 today. I can't wait!!!!!!!! :panic:
