Have you ever owned an iPhone?

People I know who move from an iPhone to an android hate them and move back to iPhone.

What's missing from that picture is the awful operating system. Samsung on paper is better by a long shot but the Android software is awful and terribly glitchy. I hated iPhone's for their lack of hardware, camera, and battery life but it's seriously so much easier and better to have iOS....I'd never go back.

People, especially older people, have a very hard time with change. Especially change in technology.
I mean I'm 29 and grew up with all of this and I'm starting to be left behind.

Actually I have both and use both daily. But I am a programmer and get the android system more than most people. I don't like the walled garden of Apple and I really don't like computers that think they are smarter than me.

Apple makes cool stuff for the non tech users of the world. They know how to make cool things easy and market them to the masses. But they are in no way cutting edge. Very few of thier products have ever been new and usually are just a better designed interface than something not seen before.

I've also got 3 iPads and 2 different android tablets. Surprisingly I like the iPad over both android tablets but prefer the android phone over the iPhone. Go figure....

And I know two people at work who went from Android to iPhone, hated them, and went back to Android. I have Android, my wife an iPhone, and I think her phone is hideous.

To me all phones look alike.

Big ones, small ones, black and gold. I can't tell an iPhone from a clone without a closer look.

I don't know if it's the same with pilots, but controllers always hate the status quo but are terrified of change

And iPhone was better until Apple decided to ditch the headphone jack in favor of trying to get people to dangle cigarettes out of their ears.
