I don't think Boeing is focusing their future on civil aviation right now. They've bought a few drone technology companies.
Or are they?
You want to see innovation, how about the first single pilot or autonomous airliner?

If Delta does cancel the order, which I hear that its not, I sure hope Boeing doesn't think Delta is going to come knocking for an order. Boeing was part of that RFP and all they could offer was 20 used E-190s from Air Canada or the 737-700 MAX. This may also put in jeapordy any future aircraft orders when Delta decides to order more aircraft. I foresee more business with Airbus.

Have you ever flown a Bombardier product?
How many C Series are out there? How long have they been developing the plane? How many they have on order?
You guys are dumb to argue with seggy....He is an expert on everything
Especially, "Deez".
(Don't leave me hanging!)

As stated, foolish....
So jokes aside, the 787 is hands down the biggest leap in structures for part 25 period. Boeing finally has the cumulative know-how of Bill Lear circa 1980.
I get you alls valid critique of the 737, fine. The 787 is an engineering spectacle. Boeing may be innovating in the wrong direction, I don't know.
The C series did drop Bombardier out of the market until a massive government bailout. Bombardier misjudged the market or at the very least, the timing of the market and tax payers bailed them out.

The plane we both fly does too, even though it shouldn't.Engineering marvel? Lol it has a freaking yoke.

All I'm saying is Boeing case has merit, even if the penalties are severe (and will be plead down right??). Sometimes, when it comes to the market, you ride the wave and other times you sink. The Canadians bailed out a manufacturing company.
Americans bailed out the financial companies. Plural. An entire industry, actually.
Like Canada, we're better for it.
I think Boeing listens to the airline purchasing first, who says, gimme that thing again but this time jack it up off the ground so we can really trans con this thing. Do you have some extra tabs you can throw on like Beech did with the ninteenhondo?Boeing needs to be innovating in both directions. The leap isn't that far to compete since they've already laid the groundwork with the 787.
#yokelivesmatter (you're kidding right?)Engineering marvel? Lol it has a freaking yoke.

If Canada wants to bail them out fine, but that boring 737 keeps making Boeing money because that's what customers (airlines) wanted.
Boeing innovated on the 787 but Boeing is kinda being crapped on a little because the old product that they still makes them money is still being offered, purchased, and built. Maybe the ford 150 is boring and lacks innovation, but it's want customers want. I'm not big on leather jackets but it's still out there in mass.
