Atlantic Southeast Airlines/ExpressJet

what were some of the questions were you asked in the technical interview? Anything on aircraft systems? What would you recommend to prepare for this portion?

I've got an interview on the 27 of Feb. They told me to look at the "delta pilot test" for the tecnical test. I cant seem to find it anywhere, any help is greatly appreicated.

They should have sent you a study guide with your invite email. Use that guide to study for the Delta tech exam.

hey juxtapilot, the above link only goes to a link of folks wanting the gouge . . . is it broken?
oh, and thank you BTW

Don't worry about the delta tests fellas, their not using it against you. Just relax and get excited for the sim (which is actually fun). PM me for more details, I interviewed a few weeks ago.

How do you know!?!? So you're saying if someone bombs it but does good in the technical interview, sim and HR that they get the job?

I, too, am curious of this... I was told by the Captain that proctored our test that the sim does weight heavily, and possibly heavier than the writtens, but he didn't say the Delta test wasn't graded/didn't count. But, I wouldn't mind being told otherwise, because that test was a bear!

*Edit: Do you mean the Delta cognitive test? Or the Delta aviation knowledge test?

I saw my sim scores I did get perfect scores on everything. But I completely bomed the Delta tests, I knew only 8/60 on the gen. Aviation, and did awful on the cognitive one. If there's any proof that it doesn't count it's me getting a class. If you rocked the tech, and the sim that counts. I'm not an idiot, but I was not prepared for the Delta tests. From what I understand is that its in a testing phase to see how pilots score on the Delta vs. how well they do in ground school. The delta test is suppose to replace the tubular test, aviation test, and the sim ride to make the interview all one day. So as long as you do well in everything else you should have no problem getting a call.

Awesome! Thanks! I'm pretty much in the same situation then. I did real well on the Day 1 tests (I actually answered all 50 tabular questions and only missed 1), and the day 2 stuff I know I did well on the cognitive, not so hot on the Delta aviation test, and did really well on the sim.

Thanks again, hopefully I'll be getting a call in a few days! Here's hoping...

Perfect scores? Really? That's, uh, rare.

HHHHMMMMMMM well that good to know. Not that I would study less, but it does help take the edge off.

I made it. I report to Houston on April 9th. I took a later class due to my wedding. Had that not been the case, I would have been able to choose from March 5, 12, or 19.

Good luck to everyone else!
