Atlantic Southeast Airlines/ExpressJet

I was there with 6 others on 9/26, 3000/100, others seemed to be in that range. I'd guess they interviewed ~25 the past 2 weeks

Did you get a call or email from them about being place in the pool or a class?

Nothing official yet, and I don't think anyone else from that day has heard back either. I spoke to him yesterday and he said no decisions have been made yet, but he also said 'no news is good news'. So if you haven't heard "Thanks but no thanks" yet, you're probably all set. Hope to meet you in a few months

Yes, "No news is good news" I am also waiting to hear from them too. Other than the Oct 8 class, I don;t foresee them running a new class until early next year. They seem to be busy moving pilots around since they are opening a base in DFW in Dec. Hope to meet you in class.

So are there any classes scheduled? Are they hiring ERJ or CRJ now? Im guessing CRJ because of the increased flying from comair?

Do any of y'all have a good study guide for the Delta knowledge test? I've got an interview coming up and I really need to nail it.

Thanks

Not really, but don't worry, you're not going to nail it and they know it. They take into account your experience level when evaluating each individuals' scores. There are basic, intermediate, as well as ATP level questions and beyond.

How in depth does the knowledge test get into jet systems/knowledge? I have a basic understanding of concepts, but don't really have any books/info to expand my knowledge. Any recommendations, tips, or pointers?

Tip: Know enough for your logbooks' experience level. If you fly turbojets or turbines and have high alt/high speed ops, you should get those questions right. If all you've flown is pistons, they don't expect you to get those questions right. Nobody is hired on the knowledge test score alone, even if you ace it.

CRJ new hire classes announced for May 13th and June 17th
ERJ side plans to hire for the remainder of the year
