ASA will fly for United May 2010

ASA Furloughes weren't part of the suspected loss of 20 airplanes in march, so I don't see how this could cause recalls, If anything it would cause more furloughs.

Did you receive the same furlough notice myself and 79 other pilots received back in January?

Well congrats ASA, but it's really hard for me to be happy for yet another airline getting growth while we stay stagnent. I wish skywest would get some flying once in a while.

Congrats on not sending guys to the street.

But hey, I can see how watching your benefits (health insurance) getting raped anally by the company I'm sure you all trust and love can make you guys feel a little down and out.

It'll get better, don't worry. . .

I already use an HSA, Its wondering thing and not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Plus it saves the airline tons of cash which we need to stay competative.

Well, you can thank ASA for taking it up the butt and furloughing so you could run fat w/o furloughing. You can also thank ASA for your pay rates, and you can send an early thanks to ASA for the improvements you are sure to see in your PBS if/when we implement it.

Since I will get banned if I say what I really feel, here you go:

@#$&%^# @#*(&Y @(*#& @ @(#*&^)#(

You figure it out.

Is some bleep-bag FO whose never been furloughed complaining about a decent company getting new flying that might recall some people? Is that what I'm reading here?

yay for auto-censor

This is what happens when times get rough. Pilots going against fellow pilots. In my brief career in the 121 world, I have learned one thing, when it's all said and done, we are the most selfish people there are. Some of the guys, excuse me, the "well educated guys" always talk about grass roots movements, unitity, capturing the flying, or watever it is. Pilot unity, HA, what unity. There isn't any unity in this career field. That's why our pay will never go up, legacy carriers won't recapture some of this flying, and we will continue to be glorified bus drivers. That's why I loved joining this forum, because it wasn't like the other "forums." Yet these days, I really can't tell if I'm on flightinfo.com or on jetcareers.com. Sorry for the rant, if I'm way of base, I apologize. Maybe it's the beer talking.

Apology accepted.

LOL, I'll try and not drink and post next time. So wat you been up to man. You still down in GA? You ever gonna get back into it if they recall?

Yeah, still down here in GA.

If, more than likely. Haven't hit my "Eject" point yet. Still have about 8 years to go before my first benchmark. If it's not met, then yeah - then I'll be gone.

What I've been up to though, not much. Being a dad, playing some golf, playing the PS3, work, and full time student.
