ASA will fly for United May 2010

Marcus with an "I told you so" in 5....4.....3....2....1

So will this bring back the guys on the streets? I hope so.

I'm not holding my breath over being recalled. Remember PBS is afoot and if adopted would wipe out any need for more pilots.

Interesting indeed. But only 13 planes as opposed to the 20 that was rumored.... It would appear that ASA can THANK Skywest for this opportunity. It sounds from the read that the reason ASA got this flying was due to the strong relationship between SKW and UAL..... A loan from Skywest Airlines will have bought flying for ASA. Wonder how the Skywest pilots feel about this.....

But as to the other, I'm sure Marcus had all the first hand knowledge of this and found it out himself (doubtful). Flightinfo I guess can provide some good information from time to time.... (did I just admit that?)

Great News! I hope it lasts; Although I never thought it happen with SkyWest being over staffed.

GET THEM WHILE THEY'RE IN STOCK! ONCE THEY'RE GONE, THEY'RE GONE!

Assuming it isn't growth (which would be a miracle if it was), hopefully its to replace a lower paid/worse contract regional, and not united routes.

You of all people should know that there is a difference between SkyWest Inc. and SkyWest Airlines.

Come on man, pick up your skills, you're starting to slip.

Old news.

This is just the appetizer towards the main course. Look for Skywest Airlines and ASA to split the upcoming United RFP. Both airlines will most likely be hiring by Summer '09. With 1 billion excuse me, 920 million in the bank, Skywest Inc. has launched the era of the Super Regional.

Come on Marcus, don't rub it in. . .or don't give the appearance of rubbing it in.

R-e-l-a-x.

Get laid. Get drunk, both, something.

Really? Have you heard of the Empire of Republic?

Regional airline holding companies loaning money to legacy airlines really bothers me. What I dont get is that the only place regional airlines get their money is from the majors. So they are essentially giving back money that was given to them. Shouldnt majors look at this and think "we are paying too much for our contracts?"
