Any other 'O7 applicants still waiting for a class date?

Just curious if there are any other '07 applicants out there that are in the same boat as me and just waiting on a class date. I was fortunate :sarcasm: enough to not get a spot in the remaining classes for this year and looks like I am going to sit tight until October or maybe longer...all hope is lost for me j/k. I feel like its a run and I just got through all the pains etc..and am just running and running.

Well, just a post to vent a bit. So thats all. :)

Yup...we are in the same boat!!! Happy waiting...We are pros at this point!!!
 
lol, yep...I just noticed that your signature has the same app closing date. Well, I am going home today and having an official toast to us waiting. :nana2::rawk::bandit::banghead::crazy:

I see that you attended the PEPC in Dallas....you from there or no?
 
07 here as well. I've got a 21 Oct class date but can't help thinking HR is going to call many of us for a short notice class.

Let's all hang in there. Our time will come :D
 
I am here waiting.... although its only been a week since i completed all my paperwork, physical, etc so I have not expected to hear anything for a month or so. Now I guess not to expect to hear anything till october. Its been such a long process. To be honest, now I think I would rather get stuck all the way in a january class becuase than i would still get my big year end bonus at my current job. Would really suck to miss it by a month! When i applied last june I never thought it would be this long. I am still excited for the opportunity though, and cant wait to get going!
 
07 here as well.

Did a local interview 2 weeks ago and received a call yesterday stating they were missing my OF-306 form, and once they received it, they would issue my tentative offer letter :crazy:.

Filled out the form, signed and scanned it, and emailed it back. I had to admit that I have 2 misdemeanors from 7 years ago on my record. Hoping that doesn't affect anything, at least until I can explain the situation in person.

So far haven't heard anything more from them :(

A Security Specialist will probably call you regarding any "issues" they find on your form. That would probably be the time you will want to explain in detail your situation. I've heard of some people having to actually meet a Security Specialist in person or like me, I had a phone interview. Don't worry about it (easier said than done, right?). Just be honest.
 
Are the tentative offer letters emails or mailed?

Trying not to worry, but can't help thinking that its going to follow me forever :(

It'll almost certainly happen due to the proximity of the weeked. Just like it happened in your link. He also signed an executive order to make a day of mourning when Gerald Ford died and federal employees got that day off. Pay will probably not come until Wednesday though (if that's a pay week..I'm not sure).

Not from Dallas, but currently living in Houston these days. Turns out if you go to school in Texas, start dating a Texan, marry a Texan...well you stay in Texas lol. I did not realize there were this many of us left waiting for a class. I don't know how they send your tentaive offer letter since I received mine at my Pepci.
 
Thought we needed a bump. The NY people are getting FOLs and I believe we are on the edge of getting ours. Finally, maybe, possible, hopefully, we are in the home stretch!!!! ugh!

Hey there, I heard from my HR rep today that I sould have a date by the end of the week. ::fingers crosed::
 
Congrats on your update. Still no word on my end for going to houston center. But I know the best case scenario is going to be in October sometime...so I am just continuing wait. I avoided these forums this past week or so...just to get it out of my mind lol.
