Any low time fo's time building?

I didn't think so. Sucks for the guys that didn't make it. Hopefully they're able to find income until the universities get accredited. I know of one university that is saying it will take at least 6 months and they're not even sure it will go far enough back to have them be accredited under the old curriculum that many of the people in the 1000-1500 TT range graduated under.

They are seriously going to make the case that since they didn't graduate under the current curriculum that they arent qualified? You have got to be kidding me. Unless I missed something, those curriculums don't really change at all besides adding a comma or a flex lesson somewhere.

I was fortuate that in my 6-8 months I was able to hold a like I picked up flying like it was my job. The guys who never got off reserve had it really rough. Even if you bid first out like most of them did, they still wouldn't get trips that would help them out.

On a semi-related topic, did anybody else hear about Silver buying a plane for their FOs to time build in? curious if that actually did happen.

They sure are. That was straight from the mouth of TG and SJ told to two separate people. I was even there for the conversation when SJ told one of the guys. They said the FAA requires an accreditation application for each curriculum and they aren't sure it's worth getting anything other than the latest curriculum certified. There was one certified in Fall 2005 and the most recent was 2008. They plan to only go back to the most recent one but those guys were all graduates of the Fall 2005 curriculum.

Oh and because the union agreed upon LOA says "unpaid Long Term Leave" it looks like they're all being denied unemployment as well. Gotta love it! So fortunate to have made it to 1,500.
