Why? AMF gets plenty of apps and are doing everything on the cheap.You would think with the money they make, they would stick 56k dialup in every crew apt at least... Wifi is like 20 bucks a month which is also nothing.

There is a bunch of stuff of stuff that they could do to make QOL a little better.
1.Reimburse people for First Class Medical expenses (Doesn't have to be the full amount, but even 20-30 bucks would help)
2.Provide a monthly cell phone stipend. I don't know about the other guys, but 60% of my phone use is for work stuff, dem data plans ain't cheap.
3.Staff the bases properly, so that every time somebody needs to take a day off it doesn't turn into schedule cluster
4. Provide a uniform allowance. They want us to look all professional and stuff, but they must have forgotten how expensive new pants and shirts are.
5. Stop this culture where the pilots are treated like they are a bunch of low class plebeians that are easy replaceable. Instead make the employees feel like they are actually part of a team and recognize their hard work.
And finally,
6. A pay bump wouldn't be too bad either.
I could think of more stuff, but these are things that have always been a pet peeve of mine.
They wouldn't have any issue putting you directly into a turbine. They would likely put you in a metro. Just don't go to CVG.Will they hire directly into the turbine aircraft? I am currently PIC on an MU-2 (but not flying as much as I'd like) so I am considering making the jump but I don't want to give up a METPIC job for a piston.....
Amazing that two years at AMF would leave you in the top third of the seniority list. Do the Apps really flow that fast?
