Ameriflight

Which I hope means Time and the kind of experience that 135 carriers love. Get in, take the crappiest runs if they give the most time, volunteer to move planes on Saturdays, and GTFO. The company will not appreciate your efforts. But you will appreciate your next job!
Sounds familiar.

IBC flies the EMB 135 under part 135.
Can you get much more than 7500lbs on the EMB 135 though? Penair up here flies the Saab 340 under 135 as well, but from what I understand that's because they need so much fuel for the runs, there's not all that much more than the limit left over.

AMF can operate the bro greater than 7500lbs. That's the kicker.
I know they have the exemption, but the FAA doesn't just hand those out. If you go all that much over they say go get a 121 cert like everyone else.
If the FAA gave AMF an exemption to run a dash 8 at max payload, there would be a lot of operators up in arms. 135 is significantly cheaper to run than 121.

Didn't half of the training department in Burbank just leave to go fly 91?
135, and to be honest, 135 pax seems WORSE than most other aviation jobs from what I've come across. Much more suck than good vs. the 91 world. YMMV The 91 guys I've talked to are from 3M, Bauden Printing, John Deere, and Cat scales. They're home the majority of the time and know what they're doing 2 months or more in advance. Haven't met a single 135 guy that has that. John Deere and 3M will NEVER lose their flying either. Their accountants will make sure of that. Unless you can start flying to Asia or Europe for 20 dollars I guess...

Our jumpseat coordinator announced a reciprocal agreement with Amflight today. He was going to post more info but I put up the route map that's on the Amflight website. Do you guys have access to any sort of timetable/equipment type info you could post? Except for the EMB120, I assume there is only the right seat for a jumpseat? Is there a way to know in advance if you guys have a time builder F/O guy? I see them a lot in ONT. For myself, does anyone know equipment type and times for the Wenatchee to BFI run? If you guys need any info on UPS let me know. Hopefully your company will make an announcement so you guys hear about this...haha.

The EMB120 is always flown 2 crew. The others are hit or miss for fo/timebuilders as far as I know
