Anyone heard about the "big changes" coming to AMF? Supposedly just acquired/are acquiring a couple of other companies with the change in leadership.

More jump seat privlidges is the only change I believe. The other "carrots" and rumors I'll believe when I see it.

Does anyone have an idea of current base openings?

Thanks for any information.

Happy Thanksgiving guys!

Forgot to say that we are also looking to buy a 121 ticket and possible dash 8 cargo birds come online in a year.

We're supposed to have UPS and FedEx by the end of December. Probably another carrot as you say. Not really intending on sticking around to see what AMF might turn into. I've gotten what I want out of the freight world.

Which I hope means Time and the kind of experience that 135 carriers love. Get in, take the crappiest runs if they give the most time, volunteer to move planes on Saturdays, and GTFO. The company will not appreciate your efforts. But you will appreciate your next job!

Truer words have never been spoken.

Kind of. Did what I could to get to BQN, fly the Metro, and get an ATP as quickly as possible. DONE. Will finish my contract here and I'm gone. Training captain and maybe check airmen are a bonus. Still might jump to the regionals(which is a waste, but HR at mainline doesn't know any better), but I'm pulling for a part 91 gig at home. I don't see a regional touching the overall QOL in Aguadilla though, definitely not the work part of it at least. Sorry, AMF cheerleader for life! :)
