That's true with every job. You'll get experience at AMF, but if you want a job elsewhere you'll still have to network.

Yep, The only way I got my interview and subsequent job at Allegiant was from previous AMF guys who went there and then a chance encounter with the 757 program manager.

The main problem that AMF guys have is not the flight experience, but the network connections. We fly mostly by ourselves and are a small pilot group. Both are factors why it may be slightly more difficult to get in somewhere with internal recs.
 
Well guys, if I can re-learn the 135 stuff, I will be on the line in April. S- made it sound like a lot of folks are moving around. Some talk of a 99 spot in Omaha or Dallas POSSIBLY being available before I'm out of training. What are your thoughts? Good move? Run for the hills? I just spoke with a friend that pulled his app. He's going to build time on his own dollar. He must have a lot more dollars than me.
