I meet 135 minimums, but it's a matter of what its in.
If you have 50 multi, and 135 IFR mins you are good to go.
I'm short on the multi (airplane), what they want to do with multi airship, is another story. Guess I'll start looking around other ways as well
How much multi do you have if you don't mind me asking? I think they will take 50 multi if it comes down to it. I know they need people.
Unfortunately losing an engine in an airshipI've got 30 multi airplane. But, I've also got 1200 hours behind two engines in airships. Take it for what its worth
Unfortunately losing an engine in an airshiplosing an engine ina fixed wing aircraft. It would be interesting to watch a airship Vmc roll![]()
. That said, your experience with traveling around the country and such shouldn't be discarded.
Keep trying to call Sheri and talk to her. 30 multi isn't necessarily a deal breaker. I know of people that have had around 30 multi that have been hired. 50 multi is certainly not a hard requirement. Heck, turbine time is no longer required to upgrade to the Metro.
When are you available for hire? If it is a few months down the road they may not want to deal with you till you get closer to your availability.
Absolutely. I'm not trying to sell the airship time as airplane time. But at the same time, I've been flying an aircraft that's 767 sized for over a year now. Anyway, I'm trying to talk them now, because, if I don't do it while I'm on vacation, I can't do it. Simply don't have the ability to go interview while I'm with the job. I can't really start for a little over 2 months (June 1) but if I don't try now, I won't know.
at what base?Sheri offered me direct entry into the 99 a few weeks ago. I know turnover is high. That, in conjunction with very low pay, even lower training pay, and a one year contract tells me its a place that really doesn't put much value on their pilots.

Thanks. And in general is 99 time looked at favorably for king air gigs?I was seeing 880 every 2 weeks in the pa31 and anywhere from 1000 to 1200 every 2 weeks in the 99 on second year pay.
