They will probably fill the spot from Class Two and move someone from the pool to Class Two. It was an MQ person. It would be assumed that the one person will probably be from MQ.

Since they are making Class Two 30 people now, 15 more people from other airlines will be added to the group.

I ended up being in a pool. Hopefully, I get picked up for class soonish

Is there anyone who didn’t make the cut? It seems like everyone I talked to either got the call or ended up being in a pool.

I maybe wrong because it was 2nd hand information, but I had buddies in the 1st and 2nd classes at AA who said AA had a pool of 100 for pick from for class 3… now things may have changed for these 2 and possible more classes, but I would not be shocked if they have a large pool to pull from knowing the likes of SW/Delta/United are pulling from some the same people.

When you guys say pool, do you mean from the pool of people that were interviewed?

AA has an interview pool, they have called/offerer 60 of those people.. with another unknown number of people getting emails saying they are in the hiring pool.

In the post you quoted when I say pool, I’m talking about hiring pool aka a group of people who have gotten notification that they are on AA short list.
 
If someone that is offered the job turns it down or does not show up for class they call someone from the pool to replace them.
Or for some reason they need to hire more then planned they pull people from the pool.

Is that the email about being selected as Manager’s Primary Candidate (MPC) means?
 
Does anyone know of a good nearby crash pad situation? Are new hires able to rent rooms at the company hotel? If so, any idea what those run a month? Which ones are the good regular cheap apartments nearby? It looks like I’ll be commuting for a little while, but I won’t necessarily be going back home too often, it will just be a year before I can fully move due to life circumstances.
