ALPA Pride Laynard

You can, but wouldn't recommend one made in this country. I've heard that Honda's, Toyota's made in the US aren't made to the same quality as the ones in Japan.

Well, that’s because Japan still has a work ethic.

I love Jaguar cars, like the XF, I just wish their Mx costs and reliability were a little better. Nice cars though.

I had an XF! One of my favorite cars. I always found it reliable.

How was it? Am thinking about getting a few years old XF just to have something nice to drive, amongst my other vehicles.

Honestly, it was very hard to let it go. I loved it. It just wasn’t as big as I’d like. I thought about getting an XJ after that, but went with an Audi A8 (also a fantastic car).

The XF is sporty, but still extremely comfy. Jaguar goes for all the creature comforts and nice little touches. It’s by far the most refined interior on any car I’ve had, and I’ve had quite a few luxury cars now. They think of every little thing. For example, the AC vents close when you turn off the car, and then slowly open when you start the car and after it “roars.” They actually program the start sequence of the car to rev up the engine on start so it sounds like a jaguar roaring. It’s all the little things like that that make it a truly different experience than other cars.

Oh, when we danced with a BMW X5...
What do you mean, "rotate the tires?"

My door handle broke on my 540i(not covered under warranty), went to get it fix and was laughing $1200 later. I mean, it’s a door handle. “Well sir, the handle is specifically designed for your car only.” Huh?!?!

Directional run-flats are the worst on BMWs. They'd always wait to self-destruct when I'm on a road trip and few places carried those types in stock.

"Well, when can you get a replacement in?"

"We got a real nice hotel here in Kingman. Tonights steak night at the local saloon. Maybe Monday?"

Wait until your autoretract sideview mirrors eat themselves…

Amazing cars on warranty, over-engineered crapboxes when they're not. Don't get me started on three-series coolant reservoirs.

all you had to do was call for an extraction , and the tactical team would’ve been on the way. After a fine steak at the Dam Bar steakhouse there.

I know all about being stranded in IGM. Haha

I just don't like the 'Green I'm Tired' lanyard as it wasn't well thought-out. It feels like a "Gadsden Flag" sticker on a Hyundai.

"Don't Tread on Me, Merka first, but man, you can't beat the economics of a low-priced auto made with cheaper Korean labor and sailed from overseas by a Dutch boat captain and a Pinoy crew on a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries cargo vessel."

Yeah, some are built in the US, but where does the money go...
I’ve hated all of these contract lanyards but the green one was the first one I actually wore because I liked not wearing my hat. I’m overall pleased with the bullet points so far and I think it will pass then I’ll throw that lanyard in trash lol

I never wear lanyards, but capitulated for this round. Main reason I want a deal is so I can throw this away ;)

Not going to lie… the lanyard the reps handed out at indoc yesterday was by far the nicest one I have…its even stretchy! But I’m too timid to wear it during training, ill wait to IoE i think. Call me superstitious.

Edit: Also makes me feel like a poser until I actually do the job.

Well sir, I have to disagree, nothing is bad in a BMW. Except the turn signals.....always inop.

Actually, Mercedes are better cars to own, but I can't frost my hair and look half as cool in one, and I'm currently considering not only frosting, but also an old school salt of the earth bowl cut and maybe some airwalks

In sad news, my 1990 bimmer hasn't left the garage since November. It gave me its west German sad face tonight as I grabbed a beer out of the beer fridge (and then it judged me that the beer was an IPA).

Your stretchy blue ALPA lanyard is 100% safe to wear in training.
