A pilot has been indicted for allegedly threatening to shoot the captain if the flight was diverted

Just because my 2001 Subaru can’t quite reach the speed limit…(that car doesn’t go on the interstate).

Tonight driving near BFI on I5…woman in a Honda Pilot in the passing lane, with no one beside her in the middle lanes, throws a fit because I got up behind her/then passed her on the right.

She had the stereotypical SEA “easily triggered woman” look about her. Zero clue that she was the one in the wrong. Bless her heart
Lemme ask you local PNW gang this, why TF do 99% of people up here keep their car dealer license plate frames on their car. You literally have to take it off to put your license plate on when you get the car registered. But people put it back on. Why?

Probably because the dealer (if you buy from one) handles the registration and plate issuance and puts it on for you when you come back to pick up your plates.....and probably not many people notice or care. Just my guess. It is at least why my wife's car still has a Honda of BLI frame. I guess I don't have something cooler to put on there

My dealer offers a deal of free car washes to any customer who stops by with the dealer’s frame installed.

I still removed mine.

And the dealer is longer around.

And I think the point (of course there’s a point) of the poop hallway is that a) it’s not a deterrent for families with kids while b) them Disneydults will pay more to eschew the dookie gamut.

I remove it before leaving the lot and hand it back to the salesman, sometimes they try to convince me to keep it and I’ll tell them you can have it back or I’ll throw it out at the first gas station I see. Same goes for any badges or decals, immediate removal at the house. The way I see it they aren’t paying me to advertise for their dealership.

I have them take it off as a condition of the sale. There is no need for a dealer tramp stamp cluttering up my car.

Ah, the mark of a Tesla owner, no plates so they don't have to pay tolls for their luxury car they're not paying gas tax on lol.

The decals, IMO, are a bit more annoying, since they are semi-permanent. I absolutely wouldn't take a car off the lot with one of those on the back. That said, they seem to be a lot more common in the midwest and southeast than up here

Vinyl decal: Easy-off Oven cleaner and a plastic razor blade.

Plastic stick on: dental floss and then same to remove remaining adhesive

You’re welcome.

Oven cleaner on the paint, man that won't get you a trophy at Concours d'Elegance... Save the clear coat and go with something a little easier on the finish.

We were doing it at a Car Dealership usually to remove dumb decals and bad racing stripes.

Long as you wash it off the clear is fine.

This is completely wrong, you should never use oven cleaner on your car. Vinyl decal: grab an extension cord and your wifes hairdryer, with a little patience and your fingernail they're easily removed with out damaging the paint (I'm assuming we're talking about new or newish cars). Plastic stick on: Check YouTube and watch a video, if you're removing an emblem and don't realize there's a hole behind it you might regret your actions.

There is a very mild solvent meant for wood floors. Basically to clean up the excess adhesive. Works great. Smells like some kind of napatha, but not nearly as stinky.

Works great on all kinds of messes.

Remember, acetone removes sharpie ink, but propanol works too.
