I'll tell you with your attitude on here I would find it very surprising if anyone would go out of their way to help you get a job.
Wow, is that really necessary? How do you know what his attitude is? You don't even know the guy outside of an internet forum. Maybe the guy just doesn't want to CFI. Is that so much of a crime? There are many many ways to skin a cat, a hell of a lot more than one, and anyone who claims to have the "one" solution in any aviation problem is a fool. Period. Aviation is fluid, and where there's a will there's a way.
You come across as a know it all and a I'll argue my point to the death without considering anything else kind of guy. That's fine and I hope you have fun doing it. I find it ironic that I guy comes on a networking site and then presents himself with that kind of attitude. Good luck.
And you don't? Just because he's not taking the same path, and not following your idea for what he "has" to do doesn't mean he's arguing his point to death. Let it be, he doesn't have to get his CFI.
Just remember no matter how much "life experience" you may have, with 800 hours you pretty much can't do crap without someone else helping you out. Personally, I like helping the humble, YMMV with someone else out there.
Not true, apply, and see what happens, you can get on someplace if you try hard enough. Someone taking a risk on you, and someone helping you out are not the same thing at all.\
This whole thread, and indeed a lot of threads lately have smelled of horrible arrogance and flame. Very little discussion is taking place, and peoples egos are getting in the way of rational discussion and networking. People who may or may not know their ass from a hole the ground are saying that something in aviation is "THIS WAY NO MATTER WHAT."
Any buddy who thinks they know an absolute in aviaiton needs to open thier minds.
