3 Checkrides scheduled for one day.

What experience is to handling the airplane - maturity is to your decision making ability. Your average 40 year old driver is safer then your average 20 year old. Do what you please to twist - facts are facts.

but I have been raised in High Preformance aircraft. It's kind of like the air force (I am in no way comparing my talents to 200 hour airforce pilots) that are flying jets with my time. .

[/ QUOTE ]

With all the same disciplined learning environment of UPT too? Somehow doubt that. Only connection is that you've had the controls of a high performance jet in your hands. Not knocking you, but just assuring the perspective is correct.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hell no. I don't have nearly the disipline that Air Force pilots have and I am in no way saying I do.

I won't say good luck yet... till the time comes.. Hopefully it won't get to that point..

except if U think it's worth it.. I see no Point in trying to 3 in one day.. It wouldn't impress me if i was doing the hiring... It would just show me that you are willing to take Unreasonable risks.. ( PIC judgment )
( not Father's )

But hey... If you do decide to do it.. just make sure u can take the stress..

P.s. At least there's an Examiner with u on the flight. it case your mind goes " Blahhh "

ahh what the heck.. GOOD luck !! and God Speed..
Safety First !!!

P.s Ask your dad why he want's You to get 3 in one day

I'll give you my take on the whole thing:

Most of the people on this board are just jealous of what you have been given in life. I would have loved to grow up around aviation and been given the same opportunities as you. But I haven't and I have no reason to regret my past.

Your story reminds me of me growing up. I grew up on a golf course, which was the only house on the country club grounds, and many of my friends always said they wanted to live where I did. I took it for granted and didn't take full advantage of what was given to me. But it sure was fun kicking the crap out of the adults on the course. Since I was a young teen, they didn't care for a young punk outdriving and outplaying them consistently. But what I was I supposed to do, lose on purpose. Hell no. So, if you want to try to pass 3 rides in one day, by all means go for it. It is your life, and good luck.

Dude you are 15?? Yes you are, and if you are not you should be. I look back at being 15 and it was like being Christopher Robin, chasing butterflies, and having a wild imagination with my stuffed animals, etc!! I look back at my childhood and smile - when you are a kid do kid things!!! Now I am 20 - I have all the time to worry about a career, what I want to do, how I am going to do it, etc.

[/ QUOTE ]I won't call you immature, but you have to admit, you're pretty inexperienced--both in life and in aviation. What's experience got to do with anything? Old saying: good judgment comes from experience; experience comes from bad judgment. Why's good judgment important? 'nuther old saying: a superior pilot uses his superior judgment to avoid situations demanding use of his superior skills.

Until you gain some experience without a parent in the other seat, until you've had the occasion to scare yourself in an airplane, you're immature as a pilot, which is all that's really relevant here. Most kids your age have yet to comprehend their own mortality and still believe themselves to be somewhat bulletproof--one of the five hazardous attitudes, not so coincidentally.

HA HA Aloft - you make me laugh. But I am sure you know what I mean. I am just trying to get a point accross, which I must say you did very well.

I did my Commercial SE and ME on the same day and that took 8 hrs and I was really wore out. The examiner vowed to never do 2 in a day again (that was his first time) Good luck doing three

What if it rains on your birthday?

then you probably live in the Pacific Northwest.

Ok, so you have like 200+ hours sitting in big airplanes flying with your parents, that is really cool. Have you ever done any of the PTS maneuvers in these airplanes. Flying in an airplane and moving the controls is a lot different than flying an airplane and making it do what you want it to do. You have a great opportunity, and have great support, but don't kid yourself, you have 200 hours of flight time, not flight experience.

I am by no meand jealous of you, I think it is great that you have goals, but there is so much more to do. If you live, eat, and breathe airplanes, you are going to burn yourself out. I have been there and done that. I was known as one of the best motocross race mechanics around. I have won numerous national and regional championships as well as worked for some of the best riders in the country. During junior high and high school all I dreamed about was racing motorcycles. I worked around them every day for years, and now the sound of them irratates me.

Just remember, it is better to know a little about a lot than to know alot about a little. This is where the maturity level comes into play.
