I have a big suitcase for my clothes, it also has a smaller bag that I didn't want to bring, but it was the only way to fit a second pair of shoes. I also have my flight bag and my backpack for my laptop, so I guess that's not too much.

got a med. size suitcase for the clothes, flightbag, and my laptop case. i have another smaller duffel bag which makes me think i brought too much. wish i knew if there were a weight or size restriction.

She sort of hinted at 100 pounds or so depending on how big you are??? I have a med one, laptop case, and a little rollaboard, hopefully that is kosher.

I was gonna weigh my stuff before I left, but never got around to it, maybe tomorrow... Whenever I get to the hotel tomorrow afternoon I'll be sure to stop by all the rooms and say hi and see who is there. I think we should group up for dinner or something, hopefully there will somewhere to eat nearby.

I completed training at Phoenix for DWAS on the 24th. I am in McAllen, Texas doing work out here. The past three days shooting I flew 22 hours lol. This is a great gig. Good luck to you guys at RAMS, make sure you do your projects right so we don't have to re-fly them ! Be prepared to be staring at a light bar for 6-8 hours straight! Good luck trying to "see and avoid" traffic :laff:.

Whats the good word for for you guys at RAMS? What project are you guys currently doing?

Myself and another guy are in Lorain, OH and have had 1 flyable day (today) out of 9 so far...but we're enjoying ourselves. The weather just sucks. The others are in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and I think they're having a little better luck than us, but not by too much. It's not as big a deal for us in OH because they're still waiting for leaf-off up here so we can shoot revenue. Hopefully in the next couple days we'll get the OK. It is really going to be kind of a baptism by fire for us though because we have about 25 flight plans which are mostly deep inside the Cleveland Bravo. Should be a good time.

I hear you brother!

I got about 3 hours left of work to be done
and haven't be able to do nothing for the past
10 days. WX in Idaho just sucks! At least
I had enough days off to recover from a bad
cold.

I feel for you Alchemist! I been watching the daily reports and yours always comes up WX probs. I relocated to KS, KS for a quick 3-4 day shoot then off to who the hell knows lol. We are expecting a snowfall on Wed. I can't wait for LA!

RAMS, if you are in OK in the next 4 days let me know, maybe we can meet up for a couple of beers?

Hey Thiago, how many down days have you had since you've been at COE?

Not sure but I'd say I've been grounded at least 60% of the time. I can't wait to get out of here...when it's not low clouds, rain, snow there's fog or haze for a good part of the day. One time it was a nice clear day so I go up thinking: "I'm gonna get a lotta work done today" and get up there just to find out that winds aloft were way too strong so I kept getting crab errors and all my FP's were E-W not a single N-S for me to avoid crabing like crazy in order to maintain the line. I even encountered some unexpected Icing one day and I was not inside the clouds...it was like a fine mist almost invisible.

I'm hoping for good wx thursday and friday...let's see! BTW most of my FP's are C5 meaning >10k feet FP's...that doesn't help.

Hey Ryan,

so you've been flying like crazy huh?! What's your TT by now? You probably meet 135 req's already.:)

can't wait for LA either man, I'm freaking tired of the cold wx. I love snowboarding so I do like snow but not the cold wx :panic:

Can't wait to meet you guys and have a few cold ones.
