Cosidering that the 2 people perished, you still find time to make fun of our franchise. You can add me to the list of people that u pissed off. As a Christian though I'll pray for you. And before you go and tell all your friends how sensitive us right wing Yankee lovers are, unlike most franchises if not a matter of IF they win, but WHEN. Of course there's no prediction as far as WHEN, but it will be BEFORE the 80 plus year mark. And no, Steinbrenner didn't ruin baseball, he just pays what he hopes will win it for us. There is a communistic "revenue sharing" systems that is set in place, which takes MOSTLY Yankee money, and money from a few other franchises (maybe Boston) and puts it into a nice pot so that some other team be the next hot Yankee clone of the year (This years Detroit, by their OWN admission.), it's not Boss George's fault that alot of owners pocket the cash and put it into their teams. Imagine though, would United or American share their cash with, I don't know SONG? Hmmm.

Geez, it's just baseball guys... a game, remember.
Pardon me sir...but I did not believe that I was BRAGGING. It's not in my nature to brag. Even If I "steered it" the way that you say, you could have been the bigger man right? All I believed I did was make a little gesture of faith in my team in light of this tragedy beyond not advancing to the World Series. Is there anything really wrong with that? I don't really see how that constitutes "bragging" per se. If I really wanted to brag, I could have said "All other teams suck except the Yankees, and that's why we'll eventually win it". But I did not. The only thing that I really hope now is that we both can respond to each other civily when it comes to the matters that come to this board, as CFI's, I think that we could both do that, even when not seeing eye to eye.Look, nothing in my post called out the Yankees for losing a pitcher. It's a huge tragedy, and you'll see on the first page I even pointed that out when someone else made a joke, (the sarcastic "it's funny because people died.") But you made it a point to inject your "WE'RE THE YANKEES!" BS in a thread about the loss of a human being, not a New York Yankee. And if you're going to be offended by someone giving you a little grief because of that, that's your choice, but remember that you were the one who steered the conversation in the means of the Yankees. Besides, I was just giving you the typical Yankee argument. My heart is with your team members and fans, as always, but don't think that will give you carte blanche to brag about your, as of late, inefficient team.
Is there anything really wrong with that?
I heard this morning that the coast guard have a video of the accident as it happends. Sad, but wonder how long it is before that hits the internet?
RIP those involved.
Well, may #27 will happen eventually if we, OMG, get younger PITCHING!! Makes me go:insane:. I'd trade that in though if it would somehow bring two young, passionate aviators back to their families....keep 'em flying dude:rawk:Nope, but when someone calls you out on it, you're going to have to deal with the consequences. That's one of the problems when you win 26 world series-es. People try to get at you![]()

sounds to me like marginal VFR mixed with a low time private pilot.
Not to mention...doesn't an SR-20 have a 200hp engine? MVFR (or at least low OVC), low time private pilot, high performance a/c.....sounds like a recipe for death to me.
he had a CFI with him.

Yeah that's who I was thinking it was too. Different avatar now though.Isn't that GreenDayPilot I think?
Not to nitpick, but hi-perf a/c = > 200hp. I did a BFR for a guy from Mexico not too long ago in his SR-20. Can't say I'm a big fan of the plane.
That's a west coast flight school, what was the guy doing giving instruction to somebody in New York?
