Water injection for the win.how overweight, or reduced thrust, or both, does a 787 have to be, to not be able to lift off of a 13,100+ foot runway? I wouldn’t think it would be a config error, as that would give an instant warning. The last jet i saw using significant amounts of runway like that, nearly 10,000 feet, were fully loaded A-model KC-135 tankers.
Nah more like it’s weird I work with people that don’t understand how brake energy works. Or that there aren’t any gates when you arrive in Seattle.Imagine trying to turn every thread you post in into a "poor me I'm a major airline captain" conversation.
“life is harder when you’re stupid.”
I’m in there somewhere asking about a interview 7 years ago with DL
Says the guy who was hoping he’d fly an Airbus out of PDX. Probably the dumbest thing I’ve seen in my entire career. Medical grade moron.

Call your mother and spend less time on the internet
New one about the whistleblower and subsequent whistleblowers. It’s a sequel to that one in 2022 and uses the same name, Downfall but labeled “A reckoning for Boeing”Is there a new Boeing doc, or is this just the old one from a couple years ago?

Not to interrupt the tradition of rampant speculation and punching down on aviation incidents occurring at the hands of aviators deemed “less than”…But preliminary info has been released.
-According to the captain, two instances of momentary uncommanded power reduction, once prior to V1, and again past V1. Maximum power was applied to get the plane off the ground.

Vietnam Airlines crew’s account of what happened to Munich flight
A preliminary report by the aviation authority has revealed that flight VN34’s speed briefly stopped increasing during its take-off roll in Munich before dropping after the aircraft reached V1.news.tuoitre.vn
Not saying an incident captain’s immediate recollection of the incident takes precedent over the preliminary, but certainly a different tune than “south Asian flight crew forgets parking brake.”
