Meh. Several legacies have RJ rates in their contracts. I wouldn’t read too much into that.
This is true.
And A380 rates. You’re welcome ALPA national!

Especially in a world where A330/350 passenger airlines have their ears open to cargo contracts lol.Sun Country made a serious push for that A330 contract after successfully realigning themselves as a 737 cargo hauler for Amazon. They didn't get the widebodies, but the word in the ACMI world was that they were in the running right up to the end. Not as pie-in-the-sky as it may seem.
AA has a guppy base in Phx now? What are AA’s plans for PHX? Is it still pretty senior with the 73 being a category there now? Asking for a friend of course![]()
Last vacancy bid, jr 73 CA PHX was a 05/22 hire. No idea what the plans are there, but it went from super senior, to not. What are AA’s plans for PHX? Is it still pretty senior with the 73 being a category there now? Asking for a friend of course![]()
Yep as of last year.AA has a guppy base in Phx now?
Nice!Last vacancy bid, jr 73 CA PHX was a 05/22 hire. No idea what the plans are there, but it went from super senior, to not.
Yes, that can happen. It is very very rare for me. Most of my trips start with a deadhead to meet the airplane somewhere other than the base, and I finish out of base and commercial home. So my days on are usually less than what's on paper. That being said, the 747 is a different world.I just flew with a former Atlas pilot who said getting into/out of position for his trip wasn't included in the 17 days of work so it was really 19 days on.
I was hired 5/22 (I’m not the junior 737 CA, missed it by 100 numbers). What are AA’s plans for PHX? Is it still pretty senior with the 73 being a category there now? Asking for a friend of course![]()

In PHX, on the Bus, I’m bidding 48% in the right seat. (Top 33% are still senior AmWest FOs doing nothing but Hawaii) On the 737 I’d be bidding 5% in the right seat as of now.
Next 5-7 years a large percentage of AW folks are retiring. I think PHX will trend more junior once they are gone.
Still lots of retirements and growth. I’m only 70% in my seat, but have amazing quality of life because I can drop most of my schedule and just fly broken trips. I’m on one right now. Leg 1 DH, Leg 2 1:50 flight, 12 hour overnight, Leg 3 DH home. Sometimes you can DH home the same night and get paid for 2 days while working 1.So many ragrets right now. Being local I wish I had tossed that app out when everyone said to do it. Now idk if the juice is worth the squeeze.
agreed...I'm 51% in seat in the mothership and pretty much get exactly what I want (can't seem to get those ANC trips yet)Still lots of retirements and growth. That seems like a nice gig. Good luck.although I've interviewed for the FO Instructor position so that is my goal right now)
Hard to tell someone to make 2 moves over a satellite baseSounds like he needs to go to AA then keep an app out for UA and that sweet sweet MCO base
