How much did you fly this year? - 2022

Handled. Even has an air compressor, so I guess I could go to the "beach" on Long Island if I didn't just burst in to flames when exposed to direct sunlight.

Please understand, I'm laughing at-me-with-you. If anyone had suggested that I would wind up such a stereotypical yuppie dork when I was 25, I would have thrown my beer on them. I guess one eventually becomes what they behold, or something.

In my extremely tenuous defense, it IS a diesel, has like 150k on the clock, it'll pull the bikes, and you can't exactly daily a Cayman in February in Kentuckistan...

Owning a 150k mile diesel Range Rover with an air suspension is not for the faint of heart.

A hair under 300 for the year. Would have been more but upgrading the panel on the RV took 4x as long as I planned.

It’s a required piece of equipment here and they do check (along with shovel, Jack and Jack board, portable toilet and either fishing or surfing gear.) Although some of the beaches have air at the exit. I had an ARB compressor I installed on the second battery tray under the hood.
At Oceano (near Pismo) the store where the pavement meets the beach has a compressor and long hose. IIRC they charge by the tire. Most have toy haulers so that’s 8 tires. No shortage of customers.

This picture must have been taken on a cold winter week day, there is usually a line.

Anyone who’s ever walked from the airport to the beach has walked past this store.

I’m SEA based at the moment, but ANC does Mexico on occasion. Are you asking if SEA can do it too?

Yep, sorry the way I wrote that was confusing. I also barely even read the lines when I bid since it doesn't really matter yet, so I am pretty ignorant about our trips/routes thus far.

Get bidpairings.com Bid for everything but the stuff you really can't deal with. For me it's red eyes. After that bid for the open flying. Then bid for reserve. It will keep getting better provided our airline can still hire and operate.

If you need help with anything please feel free to contact me.

344 block hours. Almost 100% OE and line checks, but I wear many hats around The Ponderosa.

Taking a short stint away from Flight Standards until my time accrues on the A350 (350A if you're @Seggy) and we'll see where the path leads. Still getting better year over year since being a new hire. Bitterness is a life=choice.
