Can’t wait until a regional guy is in my jump seat telling me about his Audi R8 and Breitling Navitimer.
You haven’t met Instagram pilot Garrett?

Talk about a guy thats looking for a flow back…….You haven’t met Instagram pilot Garrett?
PSA is still negotiating on it. Our contract has some features the other two don't. And we don't have PBS yet, they do.
My mistake. Are you getting it now with the new agreement? Or did I read something incorrectly?PDT doesn't have PBS.

PSA management has a tendency to add a ton of strings to this stuff. The strings are usually attached to the elimination of SAP and bringing PBS onto property.I see both Envoy and Piedmont putting up the big deals. Anything from PSA?
What does this do to the rest of the regionals? I think DAL will probably open their wallets to prop up EDV, and SKW will probably match, but the others might just be toast. Any thoughts?
I mean if you are just looking for an awkward evening with a campfire on the trinity river, a lot of “yeah bro”s, and some light petting with an AAG guy I’m free this weekend.I wish I went on that retreat…
As someone coming up on ATP mins (20 hrs left!) who's just about to leave flight instructing... any thoughts on where to go now that all this hit the fan? I have things all lined up to start training with Republic on 7/1, but this has me thinking I should possibly consider something else... all seriousness though, if you were in my shoes and could offer your advice what would you say?
While I agree n principle, isn’t this like the very definition of supply and demand?I've given this some thought, and tried to put myself in the shoes of an AA pilot and especially an AA Line Check Airman. Apparently their negotiations aren't going very well. I'm pretty sure if I was a LCA I would be turning in my LCA credentials. I don't think most LCAs do it specifically for the money, but something of this magnitude is pretty soul crushing. How much does a narrow body AA LCA need to work to make the $32k+ per month that a Piedmont LCA makes?
Many have already quit being CKA at AA. The company realizes there is a shortage but the union (rightfully) hasnt allowed them to just increase CKA pay without addressing all of the contract. AA is sending out desperate emails to try to get more people to apply to be a CKA. As many of suggested, these large pay increases at Eagle havent exactly helped morale at mainline. Rather than putting a truly industry leading contract at mainline, which would help flow retention, theyve decided to try to go cheap at mainline while putting this bandaid on their WOs. CEO posted a video yesterday saying (paraphrasing), 'A industry leading contract is coming, we just wanted to see what UAL does, but please keep being good employees while we wait.'I've given this some thought, and tried to put myself in the shoes of an AA pilot and especially an AA Line Check Airman. DAL is having the same problem. Disclaimer: my information was current in March. Many have already quit being CKA at AA.
