I have no additional comments beyond that which Corporate Communications have put out, except to add that the crew did what I consider to be a fine job and I probably would have done exactly the same thing. (And like Corporate Communications have said: No, there wasn't a door problem. No, there was not a pressurization problem. No further comments.)

Maybe an item was used out of the EEMK (or whatever they call it) on the passed out passenger and they had to ferry the airplane back to an MX hub to restock it, necessitating a second aircraft to be brought in to continue the flight.

Sometimes, when you hear hooves, think horses. Not zebras.

It's really not a conspiracy. In the absence of these things called "certain facts," the easiest thing to do to get the passengers there was likely chop another airplane and another crew out that way, and that takes time even if they happen to be sitting at the airport already.

That's reasonable - one passenger just said on ABC News that "the plane nose-dived, engines full throttle"
Also ABC just transcribed the ATC transmissions reporting a drone thatwas seen "over DC at 2000' AGO" .
This was 3 minutes ago.Interesting day to say the least.
