Keep trying to get a hold of them. Knew two dispatchers who graduated from my program with aeronautical science degrees but also had dispatcher certificates and heard back in a few weeks. One just got hired about less than 2 weeks ago as I speak. They do need dispatchers...do you have a degree? Not sure why priority may have been given but maybe because it's because we're a 141 accredited school....There is a dispatcher job listed on their website. Dispatcher preferred, not required.

I know two people. One just got hired about 2 months ago and the other less than 2 weeks ago. About the same credentials as you also...around 230 hours. You definitely have the upper hand with a Riddle degree than our small private college because yours is more known. I would probably assume yours just hasn't gotten around yet. I assume they're still hiring if my colleague just got hired this month. So are you saying that you know someone who SeaPort just hired as a Dispatcher? Or some other operation? Also, my school was also a 141 accredited school.![]()
I fly for SeaPort out of PDX, so I am in SOC quite frequently. I have seen a few new faces in dispatch recently, one even hopped on a turn to see what flying in a 208 is like. I looked back right after climb out and he was lights out nighty night. I believe they are starting another one next week. At what time did you stop by the office? They are pretty busy people, but I would say around 1000-1400 during the week would be the best time to stop in and introduce yourself.
You guys hiring FO's for San Diego?
Do you know how long it takes to get a reply after putting in an app? Applied a little over a month ago and haven't heard anything.
