The problem is not that new evidence is being suppressed, it is old evidence (pre-1973) is being ignored. The lack of credible post-war evidence and volume of incredible post-war evidence has made it easier to ignore the issue.

If you are documenting policy failures and not criticizing current chain-of-command or politicians, you are probably safe. Of course, it is tough not to criticize current command and political leadership for inaction.

Good book on the subject is An Enormous Crime, by former Congressman Bill Hendon; his efforts to expose the issue, and the resultant political pushback.

The modeling for stalls was pretty realistic. I would build something like an F-104 with more thrust and smaller wings and try to keep it flying.

Heck, Speicher wasn't even checked on post-shotdown, and was declared KIA/BNR without even the crash site being checked.

And there's ample evidence of Navigator types like F-111 WSOs, and B-52/F-105/EB-66 EWOs and various NFOs, being sent to the USSR, never to be seen again, due to their specialized and classified technical knowledge.
 
I want to beat up this Jeff Wise fella on CNN and the guy who just said he Google Earthed the airplanes path and it was a direct line to Mogadishu, Somalia.

This tells me that: 1) MH370 had ADS-C onboard with the ability to transmit current position and the next two waypoints; and 2) Malaysian ATC has Center-equivalent enroute tracking equipment to receive it. Therefore, Malaysia's "authorities" should know what those waypoints were, and should have been conducting a route search all along.

$64,000 question: What are those waypoints?

Oh, I am familiar with Peck. Do you think he did anything positive for the POW cause? I don't think so. I'll read your link content when I"m in front of a computer.

Or, more like get "lost" in Iraq with the several billion dollars that went missing and then years later was suddenly, magically "accounted for". Maybe Malaysian 307 got flown to wherever all that cash went. Grump.

Its all for entertainment purposes these days and they should specify that with some sort of disclaimer. "This show is based purely on speculation, assumptions and uneducated guess. We here at CNN really have no clue what the eff we are talking about and depend solely on our office custodian to book only the best experts to contribute their opinions on our program"

Agreed. Not much good. And neither did Congressman Bill Hendon's book. What is interesting are their explanations as to why they were unable to do anything positive for the POWs.

Australia is sending out a P-3 to investigate an area of debris found by satellite in the southern indian ocean. Let's see if this turns up anything!
 
I sh....kid you not, CNN panel was actually discussing black holes and Burmuda-type possibilities with regards to this 777!
